The app-shaped version of a pilot's route survey: every street in driving order with what's known against it — clearance structures on its stretch, sharp-turn review points with the berth a load this long needs (estimated from corner radius and the off-tracking formula — geometry, never clearance approval), network status, and unknowns. Walk any corner it flags.

Upload the NHVR permit PDF and its Authorised Route becomes the run — every listed road, in driving order, pinned for Google Maps. The PDF is read on this device and is not uploaded to WideLoad; the road names extracted from it are then sent to mapping and geocoding services to locate each road on the map.

The NHVR takes applications through its Portal only — no email, and no public lodgement API yet. One tap prepares everything the portal asks for: the application text (in the portal's section order) on your clipboard, this run's route as a KML file to attach as supporting information, and the portal open.

1. Permit arrives from NHVR (or your permit broker) → upload it here. 2. Check the pins against the permit. 3. Send to pilot on the Route screen — every pilot gets the authorised route, one tap from Google Maps. The permit document always remains the authority in the truck.

Tap 🎤 Speak, say the question, then Ask AI — after you confirm what will be shared, it opens Claude (a third-party service) with the question plus your load, run summary and the official document titles packed in, told to cite them. AI answers are a starting point, never the authority — the official documents, your permit and lawful directions decide.

Pick the state in the dropdown to see its required documents — official sources only, each dated and linked to the publisher. Dates show when the links were last reviewed; a working link doesn't guarantee the document is still current, so confirm with the publisher before relying on it.

Everything in WideLoad is free during the beta. The plans below are the intended pricing once accounts and billing exist — nothing is charged, and no subscription is enforced today.

Planned yearly: $149 (2 months free). Prices in AUD inc GST. Accounts, cloud-synced routes and shared fleet libraries are planned features — they are not live in this beta.

Your must-use streets become pinned waypoints, so Google Maps has to route through them instead of choosing its own shortcut. Google Maps accepts 9 via-points per trip — longer runs are split into legs that chain end-to-start, each one tap.

Sygic Truck: the Sygic button hands the run — with the load's height, width and length aboard — to the Sygic Truck app, which routes on a real truck profile. It needs the Sygic Truck app and the driver's own Truck licence on the phone (personal use; Sygic's subscription, not WideLoad's). Confirm the dimensions inside Sygic before rolling.

WideLoad is a planning and communication aid. It does not issue permits, approve routes or confirm clearances. Proposed routes and advisory flags may rely on incomplete or outdated third-party data — check every road and pin against the permit, current official information, road signage, conditions and lawful directions. An absent hazard flag is not evidence of clearance. Users remain responsible for meeting the requirements that apply to their role and movement.

The beta relies on third-party services and datasets — Queensland Government services, OpenStreetMap, public geocoding, Photon place search, the NHVR's public map services, Valhalla routing and Overpass services — which can be incomplete, unavailable or out of date. Business search finds only businesses mapped in OpenStreetMap — an unmapped yard won't appear.

On this device: your load profile and saved runs live in this browser's storage on this phone — there are no accounts and no WideLoad server copy. Clearing browser data (or deleting the app) deletes them.

Permit PDFs: the PDF is read locally and is not uploaded to WideLoad. Road names extracted from it are sent to third-party geocoding and mapping services to locate those roads.

Movement records: using 📷 Photo the form sends that photo to WideLoad's reading service, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude API to transcribe — used only for the transcription, not stored, no database. The keyboard scan-text path never uploads the photo at all. Logged runs stay in this browser's storage — no WideLoad server copy. Street and locality names from the form are sent to third-party geocoding services to locate them; email summaries are drafted in your own mail app and sent by you.

Shared links: a run link carries the route names and coordinates in the link itself — anyone holding the link can open the route, so share it only with the intended transport team.

Location: the live follow and centre-me features ask for browser location permission and use it only to show this device's position on the run.
